The GENERAL pool is the original pool that was first constructed back in 1982, it is approximately 1/2 of acre in size and has a good selection of carp species including Common, Crucian, Ghost, Leather, Mirror & F1's. You will also find a selection of the other breads, but mostly Carp
Fish sizes vary from fingerlings to 2lbs in the mixed breads, the Carp start from a couple of lbs and go up to high single figures. Check out the photo gallery for some recent catches.
Common baits used in this pool are, sweetcorn, pellets, luncheon meat, dog biscuits, although maggots ,hemp and bread are also used.
The disabled access swim is right by the entrance to the pool, there is a floatation device just as you make you way in to the general pool area with another safety buoy down towards the bottom of the pool.
Don't forget the toilet is back at the main entrance and has full disabled access, please leave it in the condition you found it, and day tickets can be purchased from the phone box located next to the toilet.
