UPCOMING EVENTS & COMPETITIONS
We are starting the Sunday League Matches on February 25th this year, see calendar below for the full list of dates. Evening match dates are yet to be decided.
All matches will be fished on the Match Pool.
Entry to either competition is £5.00 and is open to all, any non club members will also need to pay a reduced day ticket price of £3.00 for the evening competitions and a full day ticket price of £6.00 on the Sunday League competitions.
Wednesday Evening Competitions - Every other Wednesday from 8th May. All participants are required to be at the pools by 5pm to draw your peg and get setup, lines in the water at 5.30pm prompt and the competition finishes at 8.30pm. Cash prize goes to the heaviest bag weight. Only one rod or pole in use at anytime, keepnet required.
Sunday League Competitions - All participants are required to be at the pools by 9.30am to draw your peg and get setup, lines in the water at 10.00am prompt, the competition finishes at 4.00pm. Cash prize goes to the heaviest bag weight or split from 1st to 3rd if enough fishing. Only one rod or pole in use at anytime, keepnet required.
There will also be a points system running on the Sunday competition, and at the end of the year the person with the lowest score will be awarded the trophy. The points system works as follows.
1st Place = 1 point
2nd Place = 2 points
3rd Place = 3 points
And so on until all participants have been awarded points in relation to where they finished in the competition, if at any point you can not make any upcoming matches you will automatically get a penalty of 10 points for each match you miss. If you start fishing the competition part way through the year you will be penalised 10 points for each month you have missed up to the month you do fish. Once all matches have completed for the year, the best 8 results for each competitor will make up the final score.
Golden Peg - Each match we will have a golden peg draw, the winner of any match also has to have the same peg as the golden peg to take home the cash pot, the evening and league matches run seperate pots. Entry in to the Golden Peg is £1 each match and is voluntry.

Christmas Memorial Match - On the Bottom/General Lake
Please be at the car Park to draw pegs at 9am and start fishing by 10am, fish until 3pm.
We will hand out the trophies for this years league winner and the Heaviest Bag in a match.
Refreshments will be available after the match please make sure you post on the facebook post/event if you are coming.
